Welcome! Students in Metastudies 1301: Introduction to this Course will learn about college introductory courses and about this course itself in particular. Topics to be covered in “Intro to Intro” include:
– Topics to be covered
– Syllabi
– Problematizing totalizing narratives of identity and “language”
– Bullet pointed lists
– Other topics as necessary to document mandated Student Learning Outcomes

Student Learning Outcomes:
Students will compare past and present understandings of this course.
Students will demonstrate effective written communication skills.
Students will recognize the cultural significance of courses like this one.
Students will recognize the cultural significance of the preceding student learning outcome.
Students will learn to think critically.
